I know of 2 women who have had children after a kidney transplant, both kids are fine as I remember, but neither mother is doing all that well, it may be down to the stress of having to look after the child rather than any problems with the pregancy, also you must remember that any child borne will have a reduced immune system just like the mother, what ever drugs she takes have an effect on the child, it may be worth asking a doctor about this and weather the drugs will have any long term effects on a child.
