i have heard and read about most of those miracle cures. some of them have lead to modern medical cures but that was after modification and clinical trials that they were used on the general public. but most of them end up like ephedra that causes heart attacks, Phen-fen that damaged a lot of those who were looking for quick fixes instead of listening to those who use modern medicine and thier Dr's advice. Before i saw a medicine man i'd see a professional in the field and listen and give greater weight to his words. I think that i would use what i needed from the medicine man for faith and help with spiritual matters and listen well to the Dr's
