(What sort of story would 'Steel Magnolias' have been if the girl had lived? No story. So do not go by that.) I would bet that the tremor is from a high level of Prograf, and I hope that this can be lowered a little. The improvement can be dramatic when the serum level of Prograf gets lower. But I will not kid you, I still see a little of it in myself and I am at the lowest level my docs will go. (6-10 ng/ml) What antibiotic did they give?
Do not rely on statistics too much, since they average the ones that last 30 years with the ones that do not last long enough to make it out of the operating room. They include people with heart disease, diabetes and cancer, as well as people with simple kidney failure; so it is really hard to make them useful to an individual. They include all sorts of HLA matches and all antibody levels. Most reliable statistics only study survival for 5 years because it is too difficult and too expensive to follow patients for longer than that. So you will see % numbers for 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years, but not more than that will be accurate. If you really want to see averages I can find some, but you need to read them with those facts in mind
