Bill, I had PTLD(Lymphoma) caused by side effects from my immunosuppressant drugs. They were feuling my tumors, so the decision was made to discontinue Cellecpt(culpit), reduce cyclosporine to 100mg daily plus the prednisone. The reduction of meds and chemo put me in remission. My blood work was very good after remission they took me off cyclosporine and just recently lowered my prednisone to 7.5mg
I was fortuante, but I have logged 2800 miles running, trained and participated in 4 transplant games and eat Mediterreanean diet. My immune system is stronger than most because being so active according to my doctors.
So the answer to your question is luck, exercise, diet and staying busy. I hope you can get reduced, it`s a different ballgame as far as feeling good everyday.
