I had just a pancreas transplant, never had or need a kidney so far, thank god, I hope getting this pancreas in time will keep my kidneys from getting worse, I think i am actually spilling less protien now than before my transplant.I had done over a year ago,and i will be going in for a biopsy in a couple wks, if everything looks great, i will be weaned off the prednisone over the next 6 months.Glad I did it cuz i did it in the first place just to stabilize my eyes and my retinopathy has got better and stabilized.
