I have been prednisone free for almost 18 months. I was taking prednisone for about the same amount of time.
Within that period I have had two hip decompressions( hip replacement is approaching in September). two cataract surgeries. My orthopedic doctor and the eye surgeon agree, the cause was prednisone. No other ailments since stopping prednisone.
I had to be very adamant with my transplant team to stop the prednisone. I am now on Pro-Graff only.
