: The rocky outline rises from the sea,
: Casting reflections upon you and me.
: To this island of the sun we have travelled,
: Leaving behind the noisy rabble.
: Once here we set out on an adventure,
: Exploring the sands of time without censure.
: Travelling across mountains and past ancient walls,
: Our path becomes marked with every footfall.
: Travelling by day and sleeping by night,
: Marvelling together at such glorious sights.
: Comparing the beauty of the scene to you,
: I wonder if love has ever been so true.
: Evening would come heralded by sunset,
: The skies turning yellow, orange, and then russet.
: Watching from a hill we would bathe in its light,
: As evening fell hold each other tight.
: Leaving the island was hard to do,
: Back to reality and the human zoo.
: But one day we promised each other to be,
: Back on our very own pearl in the sea.
