Subject: PLEASE CROSSED POST!!
"I just got word that Diane Martin from Chicago, with Smooth the MACH2
Rottie and Buttercup the AmStaff, was killed in an accident involving her
RV, somewhere on her way back from the agility trials in Lawrence KS last
night. Smooth escaped and is still on the run, the other three dogs are
at a local humane society.
Diane was a fixture at the trials in the midwest - always had her RV,
always out there working the trial as a coursebuilder (she was awesome at
that!), timer, ring captain, anything that was needed. Her trademark was
running barefooted, even when her feet hurt so much she could barely run.
She took a rescue dog in (all her dogs are rescues in fact!) and made her
into the top AKC Rottweiler on her way to her MACH, and they finished her
MACH2 just this past fall."
More on Diane and the dogs. If any of you know dog folks in Kansas, let's
alert them to contact shelters, vet offices etc. to search for Smooth. This
is everyone's worse fear, that they be in an accident and their dog(s) run
away. If anyone gets information on Smooth in Kansas, please let me know.
Let's do this for Diane.
There are people in route now to get the dogs at the humane society....PLEASE HELP FIND SMOOTH!!!!
