Congrats Pamela!! I'm so happy for you. Education IS a time-eater but never a time-waster. That's what I am doing now too: switched to a nursing degree and I should have the first license in January.
Michele - Economy here is not terrible but jobs are far and few between. Hard to find one doing what I was doing but I'm not sure I want to do that anymore anyway. I am so disillusioned with big companies. I think this is my boot in the butt to move on to something else. How did the others in your family make out when they got laid off?
