No, I don't remember that story but it made me laugh this time. I can't imagine anybody eating spinach straight out of the can, especially when they're in high school. You hate stuff like that then!
I will have to think about some gross food stories and post them when they come to mind. Can't think of any involving spinach.
I have heard of people putting vinegar on it because it's supposed to mellow the taste or something. Sounds disgusting to me.
