Thank goodness they are starting to find a use for this stuff. Recycling seems to be becoming more and more important to the general public. I think it matters to them way more now than say 10 years ago. I hope they will also find a use for this gypsum crap. I don't know if it'd make good insulation or not, it might. I know I have definitely come to realize the value of insulation since moving to Nebraska! 
Did you hear about the guy who used soda bottles to make his own island???? Let me see if I can find a link here...
