My sister was diagnosed as schizophrenic when she was just 17, she is 47 now and as long as she takes her medication she is OK. The only times she has had a relapse and ended up back in hospital have been when she didn't take the meds.
I hope your sister is starting to feel better now and that she will be able to lead a normal life.
Funnily I was just thinking about you yesterday and thoguht I might pop in to post and see how you are. Keep in touch
