Posted by =^..^= Kansas I just finished reading Stephen King's latest (sounds kind of trivial next to the heavy stuff you guys are reading!) and I was really dissapointed. His last few books haven't been so good. Maybe Cell will be better? I really loved his Dark Tower series when I was in my 20s. He finally finished it last year after a 15 year pause and I was so dissapointed in the difference in his style.

Both of those books look good. Maybe I'll try to find them when I plow through the pile I've got going now. I have read some of Bryson's books, just not that one although it's on my list. I like the way he writes. I believe he wrote something about living for a while in Britian that I really liked.
