Posted by Sky I just finished The Mists of Avalon. That was another very long book, but a good one. I started to read You on a Diet, but the way it's written kind of bugs me. It's written too "funny" when I want the facts without all the joking around. What was Night about? There's this guy that hangs out at the cafe who is an long time friend of my family and he resently wrote a book about his experiences in Vietnam.

I'm reading Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diane Gabaldon. It is part of a series, but this is the first one I've read. It's kind of a hard read for me. I think it is the gaelic (sp?) language the characters use in conversation that slows me way down. I think I'm finally figuring out what ken and kent mean. I think those are used like "know." The book takes place in the forrests of North Carlolina at the beginning of the American Revolution. A few of the characters are time-travelers from the series and since I started in the middle I don't know much about that part of the story except that they know things from being in other times.
