Posted by Michele Okay, coyotes are cool and ominous all at once. I've always lived with coyotes literally in my backyard. I love to hear them, but I respect their territory, too. We always keep our cats and dogs indoors if we can't be with them in the yard. A coyote can swoop through or over any kind of fence. In a heartbeat they can take down even large dogs. Hopefully, they'll keep their distance from your yard. Be careful. I really like the name Royce. It's strong and unusual. I do think greyhounds have the softest, dreamiest eyes of all. I haven't known any young greyhounds so it's hard for me to imagine what you're going through with your youngster. It was Karen who lives for wolves. I lost touch with her about a year or two ago. I'll try to find her again. We've known each other since '85 so I'd hate to think we've completely lost touch. It's always tough when work and family are stressful at the same time. I'm glad things are looking are better. Sleep definitely helps! It is hard, though, to get a good rest when we're worried. All is well here. Yes, I'm still at the University. I'm done with my degree and teaching part time while I wait for Bill to finish his dissertation (just a couple of months away...keep your fingers crossed). In the meantime, we survived three months of remodeling the old bathroom, turning an old bedroom into a bathroom and walk-in closet and creating a new master bedroom. We also built a deck and stairs. We hired the work done for the bathrooms, but did the deck ourselves. Bill also put in laminate floors on our main living floor...except for the bathrooms which we had tiled...we tore out 30 year old chocolate carpeting...GROSS. Now it's onto the basement. We'll demo all of it, add a laundry room, rebuild the bathroom, drywall the other rooms (the previous owners just tacked paneling to the framing...yuck) and rebuild the stairwell (BIG JOB). Right now I hate going downstairs because the steps are so big...definitely not up to code. Have you done any remodeling? I'll also have to email Sky...unless someone beats me to it. I don't have DebH's email address. Maybe someone else does? Are you having a warmer winter so far? We are. After that major blizzard about five weeks ago...nothing. Works for me ;-) Later!

It's fun to have a discussion going again! Let me see if I can get everything mentioned before I fall asleep :-) (midnight is late for me) You shouldn't feel bad about disappearing. Technically, I think we all disappeared for the last year or so. Life happens ;-)
