hello, mr pagunuran. i am aurora abad and was illegally terminated by phil airlines in 1998. we won our case 10 years hereafter and we are awaiting the implementation of our victory. this is a benchmark case in phil labor history. almost 8 months later, it seems like mr lucio tan has dragged his feet to pay those of us who have been treated unjustly. our lives have drastically changed because a loss of a job, is cruel, most especially how management of phil airlines has done the termination. we, here in los angeles, california, are awaiting the implementation because we would like to resume our lives. we are all looking forward to this victory because we have families we left behind. the monies involved will enable us to reunite with them. i am writing you because we need the public to know that mr tan, inspite of the supreme court's decision of our case, shows no sign of giving us what we have won. my colleagues in the philippines have mobilized themselves, tapped resources and connections and are ready to go to the channels necessary to apply pressure on mr tan. please help us, mr pagunuran. our lives have been destroyed and this victory symbolizes that it is possible for us to rebuild our lives.thank you very much and best regards.
