Posted by daisy on 1/14/2003, 1:10 pm It was a male voice, who sounded like this asshole Antonio that I used to know so I got worried that somehow he got my new number, and to hell with coincidences when he introduced himself as Anthony. So he rambled on telling me that I was automatically entered into some drawing for $50,000 and he was telling me this stupid speech and out of nowhere he starts asking me if I live close to Hollywood and how the weather is and that he lives in Buffalo where there is snow and then he goes on to tell me that if I want to come up and visit, his mom would not mind putting me up for a few days. Ok, are those spam callers allowed to tell you stuff like that? So then I get to thinking, what if he's a credit card stealer! What if he's trained to keep me on the phone for a long time so that his people can gather information about me??? Or is this just some lonely guy (he said he was new at the job) who was bored and thought that he found a new friend from California or he thought he could pimp over the phone. Now I'm worrying, should I cancel my credit card, or is it all in my paranoia and just keep an eye on credit card bills? In the background I was hearing music, are those caller people allowed to have music playing so loudly in their background? What do you guys think? §daisy§

So this morning I am listening to The Rolling Stones and slowly getting ready for my day, putting on my makeup, when the phone rings. I look at the caller ID and it's a "no caller ID" call so I thought it would be Monica, calling about our Dosage and Calculations exam that we have to do today, and I picked up the phone.
