Feeling intimidated by 4th of July picnics? Or other social functions that will involve food and eating? Don't! Enjoy the holiday weekend and focus on the socializing, rather than the eating. If you do "stray" from your eating program, make it a stray from one meal -- not the whole 3-day weekend. Remember that negative thoughts reinforce bad habits. Celebrate your success thus far and the success sure to come by focusing on your overall goals.
