One of my favorite books as of late is "In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto" By Michael Pollan, in which the author writes about how we can start making smarter food choices to not only enrich our health and our lives, but also to bring pleasure back to eating.

The author is now part of a new film, "Food, Inc." -- a documentary that takes an unflinching look at how much we *really* know about the food we buy at our local supermarkets and serve to our families.
You can find out more about the film by clicking here:

Just Stoppers might want to explore the rest of the website, which offers a lot of information about the impact of over-processed food on us, on our health and on our environment. The information can be sobering, but is essential to anyone who wants to learn more about food and its effects on our lives.
There's also a great link for '10 Simple Things You Can Do to Change Our Food System" here:

The more we know about food, the more informed decisions we can make in regard to our health and our world.
Happy surfing!
