Gregg, good article, everyone seems to be talking about it in the fitness and weight loss industry. I have a question. In the report it states that we should all go back to counting calories because its calories in, calories out. You teach to stop eating so much. The question I have is, how much less? Should we all be counting calories? I was told by a friend of mine (a fitness mentor), that whatever you want to weigh, you should eat that many calories per day. So if I want to weigh 200 pounds, I should eat roughly 2000 calories per day. If I want to weigh 180 pounds, I should eat 1800 calories per day. Unless of course your burning a few hundred calories daily from exercise, then you could eat a little more to make up that difference. If you don't count calories to know for sure that your under where you need to be in caloric intake, how can you know you'll lose weight and how much?
