Hey there, Miss Suzy Q!
Thank you so much for the update -- it's great to hear from you. I’m glad you’re hanging in there and doing your best to move forward toward your goals of weight loss, better health and feeling better (and less tired). This is not an easy battle. If it was, everyone would be skinny and obesity would not be one of the biggest health crises facing our nation. So take heart that even with “2 pounds lost” of success, you are already a success story -- and providing inspiration not only to others, but also to me.
Adapting the plan to special needs is sometimes required. And that can take experimentation. Thanks for keeping us all posted. Oh, and I’m flattered that your husband likes the 3-hour chicken. It’s amazing how a simple recipe ends up tasting so good, huh? (Don’t make my mouth start watering on the keyboard, now! LOL!)
Please keep up the success, the drive and determination. I believe in you. I love that you put up little notes saying “Just Stop Eating So Much!” around the house. You might also want to keep a few pictures of outfits (from catalogs or magazines) handy -- outfits that you would buy/wear when you reach your goal weight. Little visual incentives like these can remind us why we choose to eat less, workout more and get healthy.
By the way, I wanted to share a few links in regard to energy levels that I thought you and other Just Stoppers! might find useful:
