I was told by a few that if you cut your calories, your body will start only burning the amount of calories you're eating. So if you're eating 2500 calories per day and you drop to 1500 calories per day to lose weight, you will go into starvation mode and start storing fat and burning muscle which will make you skinny and slow down your metabolism because you lost muscle. Thats why some people that lose weight are very skinny and have to stay on a restricted caloric diet for the rest of their lives and why some people are eating 2000-2500 calories but yet their physique is muscular, because muscle burns fat, so the more muscle you have, the more you can eat. Do you know anything about that?
