Hi, Georgia! (Thanks for your post!)
A lot of Just Stoppers! will tell you: It all starts with a commitment to what you really want. It's easy to say we want to stop eating so much and make changes that result not only in smaller clothing sizes but also being healthy from the inside out. But do we want it enough to actually change our habits? That's the key... Knowing that making these difficult changes will be worth it.
It's not easy. It takes being tough with yourself. Not eating before dinner. Not eating after. Knowing that those initial hunger pains are mental rather than physical. Now, we all know that mental hunger pains are tough to deal with. But getting through them for one night will give you a newfound strength. Put on "blinders" (like a horse who wants to only move forward) and think about the end goal: fitting into a size 9 and feeling better for yourself and looking better for yourself (as well as your husband and others).
Get through a week and you're going to start to feel a difference. It usually takes losing 10 pounds of weight to feel it in your clothes. Sometimes a little more for those of us on the higher end of the scale. But visualize how that's going to feel -- to have to reach for a smaller clothing size. But you can do it, Georgia. It takes that first step. If you really want it, you'll really do it -- and you have all of us who believe in you!
GO! GO! GO!
