On February 12th, 2008 I weighed 398 lbs. 4 weeks later I've lost 27lbs and I'm at 371 lbs as of March 11th.
Admittedly I haven't been exercising as much as I should be, it's almost scary to think how much I would've lost if I had been actively exercising. However, I have a problem similar to Rita. I personally have (according to my doctor) a "significant meniscus tear" in my right knee. Some days it hurts so bad I can barely walk, some days I don't feel any pain at all.
Because of this I really couldn't have a "standard" exercise regime where I workout "X" days and rest on "Y" days. Is it okay to intermittently workout throughout the week or is it best to keep with a set plan and stick to it?
And finally a food question.
I simply can not get into the taste of Balsamic Vinegar, I never much liked vinegar in the first place. I have been replacing that with Lemon Juice and pepper whenever I make the chicken salads or the "Blue Cheese Crumble" Salad lunch meal. Is this an appropriate substitution? I also tend to chop up and use a couple fresh basil leaves whenever I eat the Eggs/Zucchini/Cottage Cheese lunch.
Are these additions/subs an alright solution?
