Thanks Gregg for all your encouraging words. I will promise to keep moving even if it's slow and steady and invest in a stationary bike to break a sweat. I am just afraid that without doing the amount of exercise you recommend in the book three or four times per week that my body will adjust to the diet and I will stop losing weight. That is my biggest fear since I have no intentions on putting anything in my mouth that you do not have on the food list. I am determined this time to really do it and stick with it!!!
At my last doctor's appointment (before I discovered "Just Stop" on the Coast to Coast radio show), my doctor was very concerned with my blood pressure and my weight. She kept trying to add another blood pressure reducing pill to the one I am currently taking and I always got bad side effects from them. So when I told her I keep trying to lose weight but that it was not working out for me she said "Just stop eating so much. Have you ever seen pictures of the people in the Nazi concentration camps? They have so little food so they are all thin!" I never forgot her words and when I heard you on the radio say "Just stop eating so much", that did it for me. I knew God had me listen in at that very moment to hear you and to buy your book.
It seems every February or March for I don't know how long I start a new diet and I was always buying the latest diet pills that I haven't tried before since the previous ones never worked. Last year it was Nutrisystem and yes I did lose weight but when I couldn't afford it anymore (it burnt a big hole in my pocket and took months to pay-off the debt), and didn't have their food, I starting gaining and back to the usual added pounds that my body got used to and more!
So, Gregg, I really need this to work for me this time. I will do what you say to the best of my ability. I'm in for the long haul and I will ask you for advice along with my doctor whenever I get into difficulty or am in a jam.
P.S. Since I always threw out fat pictures of me my entire life, I will promise to get my picture taken soon before I get thin.
P.S.S. Let's go on the Oprah show. That'll show her what real weight loss success is all about. Just Stop Eating So Much!!!
