I've started your program a week ago, and I have to say it hasn't been as horrible as I thought it would be. I'm starting off more or less in the same boat you did. I'm a 22 year old college student just shy of 400lbs (398 in my first weigh-in). I'm 6 foot 6 and I'm supposed to be 200-220lbs.
I know that after so many months/years when I finally achieve my weight goal, I will have a decent amount of excess skin to remove as well.
However, my main question about that is scaring. How bad does the scaring show after the wounds have been healed? How many years did you wait after losing the weight before you said "enough is enough" and finally had the surgery done?
Also, is the reason why insurance didn't cover the expenses is because it's considered a "cosmetic" surgery?
