Thanks for your question, Ida. And congratulations on your weight loss success so far. That's fantastic!
In regard to your question, the Just Stop! Plan is a strict one, to be sure. That's because I believe we need to be strict with ourselves in order to succeed with our weight loss (and overall health) goals. I encourage natural, pure foods -- in limited and healthy portions. Some of the foods you mentioned can be deemed as healthy, but not necessarily right for this particular program. Perhaps they can be incorporated after you've reached your goal and you are maintaining your desired goal weight.
Legumes, soy milk and almond butter all contain a great deal of fat. Although in a more natural state (as opposed to trans-fats, etc.), they are still highly caloric and, therefore, not necessarily right for a major weight loss effort. This doesn't mean you have to give up these foods forever. But it means you might want to limit them for the time being -- or at least until you reach your goal weight (20 pounds from now).
Obviously, you need to do what's right for you and right for your health. I encourage everyone to do their own research as well as discuss their health and plans with their physician. It's important to be as healthy inside as our bodies as to look good and healthy on the outside.
Good luck, Ida. Be sure to keep us posted on your success!
