I'm sorry... I never even intended to speak here. I came here to gather history on one of the greatest modern poets I've ever had the good fortune to experience.

In light of my mission I must semi-disagree with the poster who labeled Ian as merely a rock singer. That would be like calling Bob Dylan. Jim Morrison. or
Bono simply "rock stars"

I spoke my mind....I hope that is allowed.
