Aside from all the negative focus on Ian's death, I find the musi quite uplifting and a posiive expressin of human creativity. Listen to 'Atmosphere' and you hear beauty as expressed through sound. An iconic band, the soundtrack to my late teens. Joy Division never dated like a lot of eighties bands.
