Hey folks, I've recently started putting together a Joy Division tribute band and all we really need is a drummer capable of doing a decent approximation of the mighty mr Morris. Guitar, Bass and vocals are pretty much covered and we've been rehearsing for a couple of months with a total of twelve good songs sorted - except for the beats! The aim is to get a decent act sorted out in time for the 30th anniversary of Ian's death next may and play a few gigs in heartfelt tribute to a tragic hero and a fantastic band. We're from Stockport (where all the best material was recorded)and I actually attended the same school in Macc as Ian, but enough of the tenuous links, post back if you are/know someone interseted who fits the bill - age/gender/appearance no object, just talent required (We're a couple of 29 year old white blokes btw)
