Just wanted to say a few things really:-
I think it's good that there is a site to pay respect to Ian Curtis, who was a truly moving artist and has meant a lot to me throughout my life.
I saw JD play twice - once at the Futurama Festival at Leeds Queen's Hall (August(?) 1979) and then at their penultimate gig at Derby Ajanta Cinema, just a couple of weeks before his death (so May 1980). I even took some photographs (sadly long disappared) and reviewed the gig for a student newspaper.
Next May (2010) is the 30th anniversay of Ian's death. Does anyone know if there are any plans to commemorate it in any way? I really do think that his words and JD's music speak as stronmgly now as they did 30 years ago - truly timeless.
