I just saw the movie on Ian Curtis and Joy Division last night. Profound.
Right or Wrong in others view... my view...
He was purley a poet. But creating change. An artistic move using music to enhance, intesify and sometimes contrast the poetry to evoke emotion through vocal expression. I beleive he was very weak. Too connected to his vulnerability. He veiwed himself and his world with such intelectual intensity that he defeated himself through his expresion of it. He became bound and smothered by his inability to rationalize. He could only express which created his art. His death was his final art piece, the poetry, or the exclamation to the previously expressed poetry. The music was his canvas, his words are his paint. He was an artist of expressionizm.
