The movie is disturbing as is the documentary. If only he could have found a way to cope with what was going on in his life. I think the poorly controlled epilepsy was the downfall of Ian Curtis. Without the illness he probably would have dealt with his failing marriage and gone on to have a good life like the rest of the band. I agree about the music:I do not get the emotional connection to most of New Order music as I do with JD's.
