I must say I'm not very impressed by NEW ORDER, whereas the Joy Division songs that I have been introduced to are much more organic sounding and gutsier, more cohesive as a band. I saw the film Control, not knowing who Joy Division or Ian Curtis were and was very disturbed by the film...to think that within 5 years there would be medications available that could have made Ian's life bearable.
