RIP Syd indeed...a true musical genius and maybe one who was unwilling to play the superstar game rather than the madman he was often portrayed as. 'How I wish you were here with me now' from 'In A Lonely Place' is somewhat reminiscent of the Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' and the bassline of IALP always reminded me of 'Set The Controls For The Heart of the Sun'.
