I'm a big fan of Editors and even I think it's not entirely true what Tom says about JD. Everyone has heard about Love Will Tear Us Apart. He might be honest if he says that he didn't try to copy JD but he was clearly influenced by them although the music itself is more Echo & The Bunnymen and REM tinged.
