Posted by moogle but i'll try with lwtua. i begin with sort of an A minor. except its not quite a n A minor (its an A something else). to find this chord. find A first. its the 2nd, 3rd and 4 string from the bottom on the 2nd fret from the top (where you tune the guitar). the finger on the second string from the bottom on the 2nd string should be slid down to the 3rd, remaining on that string. i'm good at this are'nt i?! erm....*rolls eyes... strum this a few times to get the rythem. i find useing 3 or 4 short strums useing only those strungs followed by one useing most of the rest works for me. repeat several times building to a crescendo. some one stop me if i'm talking cock! sounds alright when i do it tho. anyhow. change of chord time. i'm doing this from memory as im at work and its a game development studio and not a music shop so no guitar here i'm afraid:-/ your going to be hitting not quite a D. leave the finger on the 3rd fret where it is. then, i'm assuming you have your forefinger on the uppermost string on the second fret. switch it to the one below. you should now have two fingers on the neck. the one remaining on the second string (from the bottom) of the 3rd fret, and your forefinger which youve just swapped with finger below. strum this once. just the bottom 3 or 4 strings. the finger youve just removed on the last chord change now gets put on the first (bottom) string of the 2nd fret. the other two remain the same. this is a D chord. strum this once! Eeee gawd - am i making sense at all???? ok if memory serves, you should have a finger spare for the next strum, so leaving the 3 fingers already where they are, apply your pinky to the bottom string of the 3rd fret for one strum! proper chord change now..... ok leaving a finger on the second string from bottom of the 3rd fret your going to attempt a chord which i call not quite a G. you'll need another coupla fingers. probabley your forefinger on the 3rd fret also but playing the second string from the top, and you'll need another finger playing the next string down but on the second fret. OK. this description of this chord may be all tits up as i dont really think about it too much, just paly it. so. just play it. if it does'nt sound right move some fingers around and experiment. but most of all enjoy:-) oh, give this chord a bit of a good strumming before going around to that funny A again:-)

i can very loosely described as being able to 'play the guitar'. however that said, i've figured out the intro to she's lost control and new dawn fades, and the riff for lwtua. obviously, i'm always happy to be corrected by anyone who knows what they are doing bearing in mind i dont even know the names of the chords used half the time.
