let them be. joy division are'nt the be all and end all - what would you be saying if they came out stating they wanted to sound exactly like joy division eh? imagine the ridicule they'd recieve. admittedly its a little disingenious to say what they have said, but they are still young and still getting to grips with things. at the end of the day, joy division were a bunch of northern oiks, yobs in every sense that the gallchger boys are today who just happened to stumble upon an extraordinary sound. thats all. thom yorke a greater voice for a generation then curtis was to his? discuss.
