Posted by Larry Jordan He and his friend Eimbert recently put together a page showing a list of what's been issued on Jim in the last few years. I noticed that with the exception of a little that Bear put out, there is NO commercial label anywhere in the world -- despite the multitude of repackagings -- that has issued any new Jim Reeves music whatsoever EXCEPT for VoiceMasters. What does that tell you? Of course in his post on Arie's site, Atkinson has to get in a jab by saying "Maybe he is too busy working on his looooooooong awaited book or maybe he has nothing new since his fall out with Connie (resulting in a lack of borrowed material)." Most people know by now that Mrs. Sanders wasn't the source of VoiceMasters releases but for any newcomers out there who might read this, I will state again that VM was putting out CDs with new material on Jim before Connie ever came on the scene. The limited amount of stuff we listened to from her was not up to par and suffered from various audio defects due to the age and mishandling of the tapes. We pursued other options. VoiceMasters has relied on multiple sources who have been paid, including the estates of collectors who had died and left rare recordings. I expect there to be future VM CDs when the time is right, and these too will contain material by Jim that fans have never heard before. It'll be worth the wait. You'll be very surprised.

I see that Peter Atkinson is inquiring as to whether or not VoiceMasters will be releasing anything else soon. Considering the fact that he has repeatedly denigrated these wonderful CDs, I have to wonder why he's so curious about what VM does in the future. What concern is it to him?
