If we care so much about the legacy of Jim Reeves, then it should be presented in a way that can be enjoyed by all. Audio and video items could be assembled on discs and sold to the fans. Most of us would gladly pay resonable prices to have these treasures. (BTW, this is exactly what Larry and Julie are trying to do.) Then the original documents could be donated to the museum in Texas for public display, thereby, helping that museum to broaden it's artifacts.)
Hell, I no longer even want any tapes or vinyl. Just let a qualified engineer do the restoration and let me have a digital copy. Those original artifacts are now well aged antiques and need to be in the care of professional curators...not under some collector's bed.
