I was looking over my correspondence file a few nights ago and ran across a letter that a fan sent me in 2000. This man is from Europe, and became active on the Reeves fan scene even before the era of David Bussey. He wrote me a very lengthy letter in which he described various fan club activities and also his own efforts to promote Jim's music. One sentence jumped out at me. He said "Whenever I wrote to U.S. publications about fan club activites in Belgium, Holland, U.K., etc.) and wondered what the U.S. collectors are going to do with all that rare stuff, all I ever got is ABUSE from the same people who want everything to themselves like FRANK ANDERSON and a couple of more." I found this very interesting as it suggests that Anderson has been hoarding Reeves memorabilia and being abusive to other fans for a very long time. The fan used the same word -- "abuse" -- to describe schoolteacher Anderson. One of Arie's friends who is always pimping for him, Jan de Graaf, writes in to ask "What does Joyce Jackson and the Reeves family think about Mr. Jordan and his connections with the occult? Do they condone him for attacking Arie, Frank and others? Or donīt they visit his site?" Why don't you ask them, Jan? Haven't you seen Joyce's frequent posts and her strong endorsement of me on Julie's site? Do you see Joyce posting on Arie's site? What does that tell you? How about Reeves niece Lani Arnold, who has a long history of support for us? What does that tell you, "Jan"? Anderson is trying to play the victim now. I guess he's practicing for later. He keeps saying I accused him of being a "pedophile, involved in child pornography." Here again is another example of his gross exaggeration. What I've said is that HE REPEATEDLY PROMOTED THE OLD TRASH SITE ON ARIE'S WEB PAGE AND EVEN GAVE THE URL ADDRESS AND URGED REEVES FANS TO VIEW IT FOR "BALANCE" (his word) EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW IT CONTAINED CRUDE SEXUAL SLURS ON OUR (THEN) 13-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER. What decent human being would have endorsed a site that contained malicious and threatening attacks on a minor child? As for him being able to keep his job and work "with handicapped children," it is well known that teachers with tenure are very hard to fire because of the all-powerful teacher's union. A lot of rotten apples seem to remain on the scene forever. I bet every parent out there could name at least one that they and/or their children have run across. It could be that the Tennessee Dept. of Education is waiting for us to do their dirty work for them...sue Anderson and/or get him charged with violations of federal statutes...so they can get rid of him. The risk of that strategy is that by their inaction they make themselves legally vulnerable too. Anderson says he's not "intimidated" by the prospect of having his name appear in my "little" book on Jim Reeves. Actually, my book runs at least 100 pages more than Streissguth's, so that must make Michael's "miniscule" if mine is tiny. I also know exactly how many of the Streissguth ones were printed, and that many of the skids with unsold books were destined for the trash heap until Ed Gregory (who ironically hated the book) bought them for a few cents on the dollar so he had something cheap to hand out to people. Frank betrays his true feelings by once again pleading his case: "I am not part of the Jim Reeves story. I'm just a fan; a fan since the 1950's." He has posted that over and over, I guess trying to convince me of this. It's actually rather amusing. Why would he do that if he wasn't worried? He's not "just a fan." He is a destructive force on the Reeves scene, who has undermined Jim's legacy not only by his longtime and very aggressive collecting of Reeves recorded materials that he has locked up and deprived the fans from enjoying, but also by his disruptive actions and attacks on other fans. He also refers to Connie Sanders and claims she is a "target" but actually all she is is a shameless opportunist who lied repeatedly to Joyce and me to secure our help in identifying those items of Reeves memorabilia which she was able to obtain from a convicted bank fraud felon who is accused of ripping off Mary. She promised to donate the most historically significant items to Carthage but then rushed to sell them on ebay instead. She has sold Jim's funeral home registry book and other items that should have gone to the family, and even her daughter hustled Joyce for more money when Joyce wanted to reclaim a desk calendar that had belonged to her. Of course, Mrs. Sanders has also sold off the "pieces of silver" to the highest bidder without regard to preserving irreplaceable Jim Reeves items. And she has frequently misrepresented some of the items she auctions and thus victimized the fans. These are the FACTS, Frank, and plenty of fans know them to be true because they have witnessed this for themselves. As for this silliness about the "occult" that has preoccupied Frank Anderson's mind of late, is he also willing to condemn Mary Reeves, who consulted an astrologer -- as did the entire office staff of Jim Reeves Enterprises? As a sidenote, the astrologer refused to do Terry Davis' chart. (More on that later). Is Anderson also condemning Jim Reeves, whom Maxine Brown (and others) have claimed talked repeatedly about his premonitions?

I see that the fine Christian man, Frank Anderson, who has been lecturing me of late about the Bible, has found time after church this morning to launch further attacks via Arie's trash site. (He did go to church, right?) He sure has a strange way of honoring the Sabbath.
