Posted by Larry Jordan I wondered how long it would be before he dragged my dear Mother, Olga's name, into his insane rantings. For him to gratuitously mention the name of a woman who has a terminal illness and do so just because he wants to take another shot at me shows how truly vile he is. Does he have no self control? Anderson got a copy of our magazine, Midwest Today, and saw my Mother's name listed in the masthead as "general counsel." He extrapolates from this that I was trying to pass her off as a lawyer. Why would we list a lawyer in our masthead? Before she became ill, my Mother not only handled subscription processing for us but also gave us a lot of encouragement and free advice, as Mothers are prone to do. Even now, in her present state of illness, I draw strength from her. Anderson asks in a sarcastic, taunting fashion "Is your mother your attorney, Larry? If you have listed your elderly mother, who has Alzheimer's, as your attorney, and she does not have a law degree, then shame on you for using her in that manner." He writes "if your mother indeed has a law degree and is indeed your attorney ('General Counsel'), you have already stated that she has Alzheimer's, so are you still seeking her advice on legal matters?" WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH JIM REEVES? Since Julie and I began publishing Midwest Today more than 15 years ago, my Mother's name has always appeared as my way of paying tribute to her and publicly acknowledging her wise counsel. I remember how proud my Mom was that her name appeared in our magazine. I don't know why Anderson inferred that this in any way implied she was a lawyer. It is true that my Mother's capacities have greatly diminished as her illness has progressed, but I continue to run her name, and probably always will, as my sentimental and loving tribute to my Mom. Mr. Anderson can laugh at this if he wants -- he has already demonstrated he has no decency. And let it be clear that Arie den Dulk is just as crazy as Frank is for allowing it. Jim Reeves was close to his Mother too. And my guess is if cowardly Frank had ever uttered a word against Beulah, Jim would have knocked his block off. My Mother is the greatest person I have ever known, and amazingly continues to show great courage and a resilient spirit. She truly is an inspiration. She wakes each morning with a smile on her face, still practices good manners and says "thank you," is affectionate and bestows kisses, and is intuitive enough even in her present state to know when someone close to her needs a comforting hug or a gentle smile. She has moments of lucidity every day and expresses herself clearly at those times. I am looking at her now as I type this, and thanking God every day that she is still with us. My Mother taught me that the birds only pick at the best fruit, and Anderson truly is a vulture. For Frank Cordell Anderson to even mention my Mother's name in ANY context is unforgiveable. I believe anybody who has had a loved one go through Alzheimer's knows how painful this is for everyone concerned. My mention of my Mother was a quiet salute in a small listing in the magazine. It was never intended as to be misleading or represent her as our lawyer. Only a sicko like Frank would have drawn that conclusion, and only a person with no conscience would have done what he did tonight.

Let's see now. Frank Anderson has attacked my wife, my underage daughter, my friends and me. Who's next? Our family pets?
