Posted by Larry Jordan on March 8, 2006, 9:19 pm Anderson has been invading our privacy again by doing background checks to see if he can find anything in my past or Julie's that he could use to hold us up to public ridicule. The Ed Gregory bankruptcy was massive, and has still not been settled. It is newsworthy because it impacts on the disposition of the Jim Reeves estate, and there are allegations of fraud involved. Gregory was also a public figure who had been identified in national media including The New York Times, which did a front page story about the controversial Presidential pardon he received. I am NOT a public figure and my financial past is NOT pertinent to any ongoing Reeves matters and one would have to be snooping like Mr. Anderson has to discover any record of it. For him to go on the web to try to smear me over it is a clear case of malice and defamation. He doesn't know the mitigating circumstances or how they developed. He repeatedly attempts to draw a caricature of me to portray me in the worst possible light. Abraham Lincoln filed bankruptcy, as have other respected people and companies of note (like one of Donald Trump's corporations). There is no shame in that. But to compare my personal misfortune, which involved very, very small amounts of money years ago to the Gregory bankruptcy involving MILLIONS of dollars owed to a very long list of unsatisfied creditors, is a prime example of the gross exaggeration that is Frank Anderson's m.o. Mr. Anderson is also making some crazy accusations about my having faced "a jury as a defendant." I have never appeared in front of a jury in my life and the closest I have come to a jury is when I served years ago on JURY DUTY. He misquotes, distorts, puts words in my mouth, tells a fraction of a story, and just makes things up as he goes along. As for Anderson's equally bizarre comment that I spend a lot of time on the Google Groups site, I don't even know how to find it nor have I ever posted there. Not even once. If he or Arie claim otherwise, they are LYING. But identity theft and impersonation have occurred before, such as when someone but Reeves niece Lani Arnold's name and address on an envelope that was mailed to our home and which contained an overt threat. The U.S. postal service notified us recently that their investigation is ongoing and they asked for more information, which we provided. Identity theft is a FEDERAL CRIME and Mr. Anderson and Arie den Dulk both claim to know who committed it. If they have information about this, and were not personally involved, why have they not come forward to identify the source? We also have been notified by our ISP in Des Moines about attempts at "dual log-ins" whereby someone was attempting to spoof our IP address. Arie den Dulk has made reference to confidential matters of late that he claims to know about my book research. They have bragged about "harvesting" my emails. As is evident from Anderson's most recent posts, he obviously has been trolling for anything he could find from my past that he could then blow up and use to try to discredit me. I believe most fans will see his conduct for what it is: the futile efforts of a hateful and very disturbed individual who is feeling insecure about himself and threatened by what he fears I might write about him in my new book on Jim Reeves. He fits the classic definiton of the cyber stalker. Frank Cordell Anderson has a state teacher's license, owns at least three pieces of property (including a home he bought in 1977), plus has a public trail that can be followed. He also has at least three court records to his name. HIS SLATE IS NOT CLEAN. I won't go any further with that at this time. But he should remember the old adage, "those who live by the sword die by the sword."

Frank Anderson is throwing a lot of accusations my way and one of them concerns the subject of bankruptcy. He references my criticism of the late Ed Gregory in having stiffed creditors to the tune of something around $33 MILLION.
