Posted by Rob and Elaine Secondly, has anyone else experienced problems with post put in the local postboxes not arriving at its destination? We have had several letters, cards etc 'disappear' after being posted in either the Columbia Road or Hackney Road postboxes. The most recent examples are Mother's Day cards posted on the 17th March, but yet to arrive at their destination. We are aware from the local papers that there have been ongoing issues with postal deliveries in east London for a while, but it seems to have become particularly unreliable recently. We will be complaining to the post office, but if this is a problem across the estate, is it worth JHERA making a complaint on behalf of all the residents?

Has anyone else had problems with their post arriving opened? We have had several items turn up recently which have obviously been opened rather than damaged in transit, including documents with personal details relating to our finances. We are now wondering how much of our post is 'previewed' before it is put through the door, or indeed how much post may never have reached us.
