Posted by Nick Fiveash There are a couple of huge white vans in particular which not only park using up additonal parking space but I have also seen them "shunt" cars backwards in order to fit in to the space available. The vans do not have residents parking permits - they either use the scratch cards or don't bother at all and move the vans before 8.30am. What is extrordinary is on a Saturday the street is almost empty of cars which proves most of the cars parking during the week do not belong to households on Baxendale St. Any suggestions?

I don't know if anyone else is finding this annoying but it is getting more and more difficult to park in Baxendale Street after 7pm. It seems that cars from Shipton Street, and the estate on Columbia Road behind Baxendale Street, especially, use Baxendale Street to park which leaves residents of Baxendale Street having to park either in Barnet Grove or Durant Street, or even further away.
