Posted by Therese I have to do a project for an architecture course, focusing on the interaction between local residents and the film crews that descend on us from time to time. If any of you have any photos of any of these film crews, would it be possible to borrow them so I can scan or copy them? Pictures of them anywhere round the Jesus Hospital Estate/Columbia Road area would be useful. (Particularly any of them spraying fake snow, "rain", etc.) Also, I wonder if any of you have videos (or DVDs?) of any of the films, TV shows, adverts etc that have been made in Columbia Road and jhe over the last 15 years or so: The Missionary, Goodnight Sweetheart, Poirot, The Chain and so-on. If so, I'd be very grateful if I could borrow them to take a copy of the sections shot in Columbia Road etc. Even the short sections taken from Heineken beer, bread, bank, etc adverts would be very useful indeed! Special thanks will be given to anyone who has any pictures/video relating to the advert shot some years ago where Columbia Road was deluged in water from a fire hydrant until the small hours of the morning while a man dressed as a rabbit repeatedly ran across the road! :) I'd be very grateful indeed for any help anyone can give me on this - especially if they reply before this Wednesday (although after that would be quite useful too).
