Following last night's meeting and the discussion about crime on the estate, I just wanted to express my concerns about the way in which the Yellow Pages were 'delivered' today. Leaving them on doorsteps makes it extremely obvious which residents are not at home. I did a stint delivering Yellow Pages as a student and it was made very clear that deliverers had to obtain a signature for the books or, if this was not possible, either leave them with a neighbour or take them away and try to redeliver later. I understand that it is difficult to deliver in a residential area where many people are out all day but I do think that this could have been planned more carefully with an evening or weekend delivery. What do other people think?
