It's been a while since I posted here. While I a fan of Jane Eyre The Musical and appreciate Mr. Barbour's incredible vocal gift, I have no tolerance for men who prey on underage girls (or boys). My daughter came close to being in two different shows with this guy so this hits very close to home for me.
On a happier note, it's nice to see this site is still going strong after so many years. I enjoyed the time I spent discussing this show with all you lovely ladies.
Actor Quits 'Rocky Horror' Amid Sexual Allegations
Barbour Broadway actor James Barbour departed a lead role in Richard O'Brien's production of "The Rocky Horror Show" set to run at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. According to The Los Angeles Times, no replacement has been announced.
The Times also reported that just days ago Barbour admitted to seducing a 15-year-old girl. However, the actor said he is leaving the show due to pregnancy issues with his wife.
Barbour was to play the role of Frank-N-Furter, a raunchy character that the Old Globe refers to as a "devilishly charming transvestite."
