I just saw A Steady Rain...
I tossed around the idea of seeing Mr. Law in Hamlet, but with a considerable drive ahead of me (and having earlier in the week been at Disney celebrating a certain 5-year-old Princess' birthday) I opted to just head back rather than fall asleep during an evening show.
As for your question...I did see Mr. J in TBFO in 2004 (twice actually) and although this is a little more startling due to the coarse language, he has a truly incredible stage presence. At 6' 2-1/2" he's a really tall guy and you definitely feel that on the stage and although Mr. C is 5' 11" his character here is more of an introvert so doesn't throw the same vibe as Mr. J. Plus if you missed it, they were both on Oprah on Friday in a "surprise" visit Hugh & Daniel on Oprah!
