Hi Paul,
All this talk of new shows got me thinking.... (and I apologize if you answered this question years back...I don't remember)...
Assuming you were present during the casting process (for any of the various stages of JE), do you remember any particular cast member that just blew you away during the auditions? Was there ever that instant "THIS IS OUR PERSON" moment? Mary Stout, for example, must have been a joy to find.
After all these years, I still hold firm to the fact that I have never in my life seen a more talented, cohesive cast as I did in that Original Broadway company.
How long are you in Japan?
